I love to play with code, to talk code, and to share code, and this is a safe space to learn code.
That said, there are a few rules to hang out at this site.
Code is fun, but it is also ever-changing. While I’ve tested every single line of code I’ve provided here, what may have worked when I wrote it may not work today. I will try to keep things updated as much as possible, but you may find my code breaks something it wasn’t meant to break, so use the information you find here at your own risk. I take absolutely no responsibility for anything that goes wrong on your site because you tried something you found here. But if it does work and you learn something new? Awesome!
Before you try anything you learn here, back your stuff up. It’s a lot easier to roll back than to try to fix something after it’s broken.
All that said, I am the legal copyright holder of all written, multimedia, and graphic material provided on this website (unless otherwise credited) and it may not be used, reprinted, modified, or published without my written consent.
If you do get my permission to share a tutorial on your site, it must include a link to codeplaylove.com. Tutorials or blog posts may not be copied and reprinted in their entirety, instead, please provide a brief excerpt (100 – 150 words) and a link back to the original post. You cannot copy more than one image per post.
I also reserve the right to edit and/or delete comments if I find them to be spam, blatant self-promotion, over-the-top potty-mouthed, or hateful or hurtful to me, to the people I love, or to people in general. Please practice considerate commenting etiquette and play nice.
Any personal and/or contact information provided to me will be kept private. I hate spammers as much as you do, so I won’t sell or share your stuff with any person or company. If you send me a question, I may share it in a future blog post, but will not include your name without your permission.
